Try searching for environmental documentaries and tv shows to watch like Our Planet, Merchants of Doubt, or a variety of others hosted on platforms like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. 

Read "What We Think About When We Try Not To Think About Global Warming" by Per Espen Stoknes for great insight into how people deal with and think about climate change and what actions we can take. "The Uninhabitable Earth" by David Wallace-Wells is another interesting read full of information about what is happening to our planet broken down by each effect.
